Reliving those memorable times through my photos, and the wedding albums that I create, have reduced many of my Brides and Grooms to tears of joy. As an experienced Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer, I’d plan to work very closely with you. This will allow me to get a deeper knowledge of what you require from your photos. Your wedding photography is about you as a couple. It’s not about my ideas, but what you both want from your day. I am of course there to provide guidance, and advice if you are in any way unsure.
What takes place on our Wedding Day?
I prefer to arrive at your venue around 30-40 minutes before you require my services. That way I have a chance to get my equipment set up and ready and make any last-minute checks at the venue. There’ll be time for me to chat with the wedding coordinator, Registrar or Vicar, just to ensure we are all in sync.
If you’re camera-shy, or nervous, I offer a pre-wedding photo session.
The thought of being on camera for most can be quite daunting. I am always happy to provide a 30-minute photoshoot if required. There is a small cost to this. . On most occasions, this takes place at your wedding venue. People, moments, and places, are the things I like to photograph. Most of all I like to get to know people. The time given to the two of you at this stage is very important. It’s very informal and fun. Getting a feel for being in the spotlight can make a lot of difference in the day. My hope by the end of the meeting is that you feel more comfortable around me, and in front of the camera.
It’s all very relaxed
During the meeting, there’ll be time to cover any questions, or uncertainties that you may have about your wedding day. You may have some Bride and Groom photographs, or ideas of your own that you’d like to try out. If we are at the venue, then we can check out which areas might be suitable for various shots. Lighting and natural sunlight are very important to acquiring a correctly exposed set of images. Checking the location for sun direction and shade will be helpful. Although I can easily do this on the day of the wedding. Many couples have said that they would advise a pre-wedding shoot, as it’s a great way to get used to the camera in time for your big day.
What is my style, as a Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer?
I’m very relaxed in my approach to wedding photography. I don’t stress about the day, as I’m confident in what I do. I’m very organised so that you can enjoy the day with your guests, rather than standing around waiting for pictures. The timeline can often be tight, so I like to have you ready for each part of the day if I can.
As the day progresses, I’m here to help you too. I’ll fix a buttonhole, straighten a tie, whatever I can if time allows. If you’re feeling nervous I’ll remind you to take a breath, don’t rush, and smile when walking down the aisle. It’s all part of the service.
