Can the venue accommodate large and small intimate weddings?

Vintage steam trains are located on either side of the platform, with old railway memorabilia set along the platform, as if it were still in operation. The venue Platform can accommodate a large ceremony and wedding breakfast of up to 150 guests. If you would prefer an intimate ceremony, The Oxford Room is perfect, offering a maximum of 30 guests. Evening receptions can house up to 180 guests. There is a large dance floor away from the main platform, with its own PA system if required.

The glass-roof venue provides the most amazing natural light, which fills the spacious platform. Being an experienced wedding photographer I am able to capture your ceremony with clarity and colour. The whole platform is very well-lit, as you can see from my photographs. Each wedding guest photographed during the ceremony is seen perfectly. It’s not just the Bride and Groom’s emotions that can be captured forever, but your family and friends too.



What are Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's unique features?

Make an impression, and arrive in style via a steam train, adjacent to the main Platform. How very unique is that? Another feature that I love at the venue is, you can offer your guests steam train rides! There is so much to enthrall your guests during your wedding. The venue has its own bar, and the children can watch a film. One of the platform train carriages has been converted into a small cinema.

Expect to be transported back in time when you step into the venue. The tiny details and vintage railway memorabilia can be enjoyed by all, not just railway anoraks. It’s full of fun, with a relaxed atmosphere. Emma, who is the Wedding coordinator, and her team, are so very friendly. You will be very well looked after in their hands.
